2010 HUMMER H3T Review

Overview

Hummer H3T is a functional and capable a four-door five-passenger crew cab with a five-foot-long bed midsize pickup truck with extreme off-road capability. For 2010, The H3T includes three new exterior colors and an available E85 Flex Fuel capable 300-hp 5.3L V8 engine. This is a part of Hummer's commitment to offer a biofuel powertrain in all body styles by 2010.

Power and performance

The 2010 Hummer H3T is offered in four trim levels that include five-cylinder models and the Alpha edition with V-8 engine. Two engine types are available: the standard 242-horsepower Vortec 3.7-liter inline-5 cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic. The new 5.3L V8 Flex Fuel engine is standard in all 2010 Alpha series' models. It is rated at 300 horsepower 320 lb.-ft. of torque. A Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission is paired with this engine.

Body and styling

The 2010 Hummer H3T comes with a wide spectrum of comfort and convenience features such as integrated bedliner with built-in storage; air conditioning; skid shields; easily removable tailgate; 32-inch all-terrain tires on 16-inch steel wheels; a low roofline; seven-slot grille; a full-size spare tire; remote keyless entry; high beltline; power locks; power windows; a 60/40-split rear bench seat; hands-free Bluetooth connectivity; an AM/FM radio with CD player; and XM Satellite Radio with three months of trial service. Optional features include a premium Monsoon audio system; a turn-by-turn navigation system; and Hummer?s rear vision system with a camera. The optional Off-Road Adventure package is meant for aggressive off-road performance.

The list of standard safety devices on the 2010 Hummer H3T include hill start assist; 4-wheel anti-lock brakes; dual frontal airbags and head curtain side-impact airbags; traction control; StabiliTrak stability control; OnStar service for the first year; tire pressure monitoring; and LATCH rear child seat anchors.
